This is the place to download files for us or to retrieve files we are providing you.
For security purposes, we are constantly changing the password that gives you access
to our FTP site. Therefore, before you go to our FTP site, make sure you have the most
recent password. In order to get the password, simply send us an email requesting it
(at frontdesk@inthebagsf.com) or call us at 415-334-8446.
To be able to upload to us or download files from us you will need the following:
user name : frontdesk
password : (this changes - so make sure you have the most recent password!)
Windows users: Once you get the password from us, you can access our FTP site, simply
by using your internet browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) and going to our FTP site
ftp.inthebagdownloads.com. When you reach our FTP site, you will then be prompted to enter
your user id and password, and then hit "Log On". Once inside, you can choose to Upload files
into the "Inbox" folder or Download files from the "Outbox" folder. When you are done,
exit the system, and follow up with an email or a phone call to let us know that you have put
a file on our FTP site or taken one out our FTP site. We only check our FTP site if we are
expecting something - so be sure to let us know!
Macintosh users: Once you get the password from us, you can access our FTP site, simply
by using your internet browser (such as Internet Explorer or Netscape) and going to our FTP site
ftp.inthebagdownloads.com. When you reach our FTP site, you will then be prompted to enter
your user id and password, and then hit "Log On". Once inside, you can ONLY download files
to your computer. In order to upload files, you will need to use an FTP application, such as
FTP Thingy or Fetch. Upload files into the "Inbox" folder or Download files from the "Outbox"
folder. When you are done, exit the system, and follow up with an email or a phone call
to let us know that you have put a file on our FTP site or taken one out our FTP site. We only
check our FTP site if we are expecting something - so be sure to let us know!
